Fast-forward to two sold-out QPAC shows and the creation of the Fearless Singer Community & Coaching, I’m now on a mission to help other singers break through fear and live their creative dreams.

G’day! I’m Mel
Mel’s artistic roots trace back to Bundaberg, shaped by the 80s Greek pop music, rock 'n' roll, and rebetiko that filled her family home. This Meanjin-based soul jazz singer and comedian, who performs as ‘Little Mel’ blends her Asia Minor Greek café heritage with her expertise in jazz, blues, and soul.
A regular performer in Meanjin venues, including the Brisbane Jazz Club and The Powerhouse, Mel co-starred in a Nana Mouskouri Tribute at QPAC in October 2024, selling out two-shows as part of her shared project - Girl From Greece with
Katerini Manolatos.

My Projects
Girl From Greece is mine & Katerini Manolatos’ production company — a vibrant tapestry weaving our love for Hellenic heritage with a Greco-Retro Soundtrack. We work with Meanjin’s best musicians to create rich musical experiences for our beautiful community. We presented a tribute to Nana Mouskouri for her 90th birthday on October 11th at QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre) - selling out two shows!
