Femme Jazz is back on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 7:30 PM, bringing together some of Meanjin’s (Brisbane’s) most incredible jazz vocalists and instrumentalists for a night that will inspire, uplift, and groove hard.

What Is Femme Jazz?
Femme Jazz is more than just a gig—it’s a movement. Created to spotlight female and non-binary jazz musicians, this event is all about giving femme artists the space they deserve on stage. We bring together a lineup of powerhouse vocalists backed by the Unladylike Quartet, an all-femme instrumental ensemble that knows how to swing, groove, and bring the house down.
Expect everything from straight-ahead jazz to soulful R&B, blues, and a touch of Greco Retro magic. Whether you’re into sultry ballads, hard-swinging bebop, or modern jazz vibes, Femme Jazz delivers a rich, diverse musical experience.
